I pay $220 a month for liability only on my civic and 240. I'm 21, live in SoCal, and I have four points on my record. Seeing what those guys pay, my rates don't look so bad. As a comparison though, my friend pays like $98 for liability each month on his 1993. My civic is a 93 and my 240 is a 91.

Also, when I bought the 240, if I insured it alone, it would have been cheaper than my Civic.

about $120 a month

not bad, considering i'm a young male (23) with a few speeding tickets, and it's a reddish (burgundy) sporty car...
my advice is invest in a radar detector.. it'll pay for itself before too long

edit: oh yeah.. it's a '93 240sx

Re: Insurance on 240's

I live in Tennessee and it's about 1500 every six months for a 240. About 200 a month. It's not the money, it's knowing you have one. Wait, why don't you pick up the phone and call your insurance company? How the hell would we know what you get?

You can always call some isurance companies and get quotes from them. Most companies, if you give them the info about the car you want, can give you a pretty accurate quote.

Re: Insurance on 240's

holy shit d-bo 325?
Thats a car payment
I payed 110 a month on my 92 with over ten speeding tickets (and others) in the past 3 years...but I live in oregon.
I agree about the radar detector if I didn't get mine last chrismas I'm sure I would have lost my licence
