2.5 mx6 vs. 2.5 avenger

one of my friends has a stock avenger with a body kit and 17 inch rims and thinks heres a PIMP i wanna put him to shame in my mx6 with full exhaust and intake.would it happen? i think i could kick his ass

i was just kiddin man, chill, lol, I have no idea who would win, but the odds are against him 1) cause u got an exhaust and an intake which altogether is giving you about a 30-40 horsepower edge 2) his engines stock and all the body kit is doing is adding dead weight to him, and 3) if you know how to drive the stick right, you should jump on him off the line and kill him when you hit your last gear (urs is a 5 speed right?)
