The only thing that I can think of that might be different form any other LS/VTEC or B20VTEC is that you might need to upgrade the oil pump. I can't think of anything else. I am pretty sure that the B20a5 is basically the same as the B20B and B20Z except that the B20a5 sits on an incline in the emgine bay.

Do some searches on B20/VTEC or B20VTEC etc and you will most likely find your answer.

well there is no difference in the b20, but if he is going to put on a vtec head he will have to have a oil feed line to the vetec soleniod. Also he will need a gsr water pump. Get the conversion kit it saves alot of headaches

Re: help! b16 head on b20a5 3rd gen prelude

all im concerned with is fitment and oil circulation from block to head. can anyone with experience in this matter shed some light. i dont have a block to match but ive seen stock and b16 heads side by side and the only possible problem i saw visibly were 2 1 inch oil run off holes on the front of the b16 head.

misguided information the b20a5 is the red headed step child of all hondas nothing works except its own parts the heads will not line up i owned one for about 2 months and did alot of research and its a big waste of time and money i would suggest buying a diferent car honestly i cant think of where to go except www.preludepower.com but thats the only site i can think of
