I'm actualy in the market for a new third gen to play with..give me a list of what the car has and needs. 3500 seems a bit high for an 83, but if it's worth it I just might want it.

Re: guess noone was interested (1983 z28 for sale 350 headers 3" exhaust subframe connect

parts on my camaro

350 zz4 gm motor 45k miles. Mostly highway.
aftermarket 700R4 tranny
Subframe connectors
strut tower braces
kyb shocks and struts.
Interior is in great condition for an 83. If u want detailed recent pics of the car I will take some and send them to u.
No stereo it was stolen I figure someone who buys it will put what they want in it. Has 3way pioneer 6x9's and new front speakers.
Stock carb, rear and gears.
Had plans to replace all of those this oct. but was not able to. My bonus went to other things. I am not hard pressed to sell. My motor the car and everything on it is bought and paid for. The title is mine. I am just seeing if anyone is interested. I have been seriously considering getting a bike.
Things i would replace
carb, rear differential and gears.
Body damage
None til recent
wife hit a deer and scratched the paint on the right front, Bent in the very tip of the quarterpanel right near the hood in the very front of the car. While on deployment this year a cat peed on the roof behind my sunroof and faded the paint up there. The current paint job is about 5 years old and if I keep it I am eventually going to get it painted.
I think it is worth 3500 if u are looking for a car with an awesome motor that has a great body and good interior. It looks better than most of the camaros i have seen that are newer than it.

KBB does not apply once a car is modified. If i were going by kbb i would strip the motor and put a 305 back in change to the stock paint job put the stock tranny back in, take the sunroof out along with the now overhed cloth and the new speakers. Get rid of tires and rims go back to stock on those. Get rid of kyb suspension and go back to original stock parts there too.
KBB is great if u are looking for an all stock car dont get me wrong. KBB has nothing to do with hot rods and modified american muscle

I can vouch for this car. When my wife was in the Air Force and we lived in VA. I lived next door and hung up with this guy and drove the car. he was actully trying to sell it to me for 4k. At the time, wife was pregnant and I had a 01 Z28 LS1 with the goodies...couldnt afford it! Just sold my 01 and got a 84 for free. My old Z28 from high school. If that wasnt the case. For 3500k Id be buying the car like no ones buisness!
