Removing the starter 87 S-10 Blazer

Whats the trick on getting the starter out of a 87 S-10 Blazer. Help Please.

just keep wiggling it , honestly it will come out..you have to line up the bendix and the flywheel

Probably not the same as our 94 truck's came out but we had to back out the motor mount just a few few threads and that made all the difference. Hope it works for you also otherwise I know it's like some kind of puzzle or something.

Thanks Chris, I ended up having to remove the cross member to get the dang thing out. Mission accomplished Thanks again for the pointers

I would imagine that it's the same as my 85, and all that you have to do is remove those 2 bolts, from the starter, plus you have to remove that bar underneath. from there it shouldn't be all that hard.
