Re: Best Zc Ecu

If the PR4 wasn't on a DOHC motor the car will never turn over....

Re: Best Zc Ecu

pr4 on a 89 teg. Yeah that would be a problem. PR4=1.8Lof gas 89 teg=1.6L of gas....
See its running rich! Way too rich. BAD!! Oh and the best one would be an auto 90-91 civic EX-rare to find. or a 87-89 teg auto ecu.

Re: Best Zc Ecu

I ran a PG7 on my MPFI SOHC d15a and didnt have a issue, better fuel curve and higher redline, no real issues.

Number of cams really dont have much to do with it. Though I dont know if I would run a made for larger (1.8 vs 1.6) ecu.

Gas mixture is controlled by the o2 sensor so there is no real difference in the acutal amount of gas just differenent rpm maping.

I though it gave better midband power.

I thought that the EX was basically a PM6 w/ auto available?

I would run the ZC since it has even richer curve for the higher lift cams, then the integra for obd0 (for 1.6 then 1.8) then a EX.

Re: Best Zc Ecu

Technically you could run a PM8 for auto too, but that would suck...
