What's the best color for ITR gunmetal wheels?
Hey all,
I'm currently painting my ITR wheels and Tamiya TS-42 Light Gunmetal seems the right shade, but it's too metallic. Anybody know what color is the most appropriate for stock gunmetal ITR wheels? Phil

Not sure if it helps, but I used gunmetal on the ITR wheels on my black WRX:
 http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ad.php?t=97482 Sprayed them TS17 Aluminum, then painted X-10 gun metal by hand.

You could try Testors Metalizer Gunmetal. It doesn't have a flake like Tamiya plus it buffs.
