Need Advice on buying a new benz or bmw
I am looking to buy either a new beemer or benz. Can only afford c class or 3 series. Probably between a c230 or 325i coupe...what do you guys think? Any recommendations? Thanks

Personally I would get the 325i Coupe...BMW handle better and have amazing steering feel...so you will feel very connected to the car and road. I know Benz has started to offer manuals too so it's not a question of that at all...but in terms of better overall performer...it's the BMW

If your even the slightest bit interested in performance and/or drive quality, get the BMW. The C230 has just about the weakest engine you can find on a luxury car, and drives like a dead cow.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I was leaning toward the bmw before but now almost 100 percent. Another question is what is the difference really between the 325i coupe and sedan?

Bmws are very reliable cars, while Mercedez Benz is almost at the bottom of the reliability list.

Besides the number of doors, not much. Check www.edmunds.com for standard features lists for each car.

I beleive the Ci is a tad bit lighter then the i, making it a tad bit faster.
I also wanted to say, BMW 3-Series is on C&D's top ten cars list yet again.
