Custom Speaker Help
anyone know a good way to install your own speakers into the stock doors of an 84' s10? (i mean cutting holes in the door and all of that)

find a newer s 10, take the door pannels off, and you will see the black support holding the speaker in, thats what you need, no hole in the door, maby in your pannel but not the sheet metal

You will still have to cut unless you get deep pods.The factory s10 pods that dmbrisket talk of aren't deep enough(still a hole in the sheet metal),they keep the speaker out enough so the window doesn't hit it.

my pioners fit in fine without cutting holes into my doors melat, depends on if you have deep pod or shallow/ (the box said) gm friendly speakers

My Xplodes fit in my 97, I also ripped off the stock plastic plate and put the xplode grill on.

do you know the dimensions for an s10 extreme. 2002 model i think. im trying to buy a speaker box for my friend and i dont know if it will fit or not. thanks
