Unhappy 2000 V6 an interference motor?

Does anyone know if a 2000 V6 is an interference motor? I think I blew an upper timing chain when starting it the other day and I'm wonder what, if any, bad stuff might have happened. I can turn the motor over freely with no ugly sounds, so it seems like it doesn't matter that the secondary cam may not be turning. Also, does anyone have any good ideas to determine which cylinder bank has the blown chain without removing the valve covers?

As background, the main cams driven by the external timing belt still turn OK - no problems with the external timing belt. The motor has 30K miles and has had hydraulic tensioner(s) that do not hold pressure when the car sits for a while.

Thanks in advanced for any info you might have.
Bryan

Do you still have the 4/50K warranty on it or did the 2000's only come with the 2/24k??
