Hesitation and Stalling

Hey guys i have had my 1969 chevelle malibu with a 250 inline 6 for about a year now and it just started hesitating and stalling when i put it in drive and push on the gas i was wondering if anyone new what the problem might be. could it be the fuel filter or pump if anyone could help that would be great thanx.

yes you are on the right track. Check your fuel filter and also check for vaccum leaks on your carb and intake...
