Mickey Mouse Cops

I got a sixty-five dollar appearence parking ticket because I was just BARELY(stretching as much as possible) over the line in a cross hatched no parking zone and the mickey mouse school patrol gave me a ticket. He should have given the person next to me a ticket for parking poorly and taking up more then one spot. I am going to see if my friend's dad can have it taken care of or I am going to fight like a pitbull to not to pay. I am not sure if it is even worth my time fighting. What do you all think I should do?

Yes - fight the ticket, but don't use that terminology 'mickey mouse cop' or 'rent-a-cop' when doing it

Anyone else here know that Walt Disney owns the rights to the frequencies used by the City of Edmonton Police Department? At least here we really can call them " micky mouse cops"

Anyways fight the ticket, Im sure you can find some way to get it thrown out.

get an old newspaper from the day you got the ticket, put the ticket back on your windshield, get a camera, and go park there correctly and take a picture of it, while somebody holds the news paper... BAM... KILLER EVIDENCE... they would have to believe you!!

no they wouldn't. Heres a better plan, get the camera, the ticket, and newspaper like I said before, then get some of that color match wax with the chip sticks that matches a friend of yours' color car, then rub some of that chip stick on your bumper, take a picture so that it shows your friends car behind your car (but not his liscense plate) and the color smeared on your bumper, then get a wider angle showing your car over the edge of the illegal spot with the other car behind yours so it looks like you got bumped into that spot. Then if that doesnt work, say... Im sorry I had to park real fast so I could help an old lady across the street.... and then they will know that you are a good citizen and they will give you an award, and the cop will have to make a public apology speech to you while resigning from his mickey mouse rent a cop job.

Fight the ticket...what do you have to lose. Get the ticket brought to court...you know damn well the rent-a-cop and the schoolboard aren't going to hire a lawyer and the rent-a-pig doesn't have the brainpower to defend his own actions.

It was paid well over a month ago as stated above. Nothing to fight.
