I would like to upgrade my air intake. I do all my own maintinance and my car is tuned up (3.8 2002 Impala). I wand to know a brand and a web site with a deal. Is it an easy task? I want a efficient running car not a drag strip car.

the best intake system for the 3.8 is the THRASHER kit or SLP kit. there both couple hundred dollars & come with pcm cover. thrasher has cool plexi glass window so you can see filter. pfyc.com has them both. they fit on 3.4 also.

uh, it wasn't that bad. just some stubborn clips that hold the wiring for pcm. 3.8 install is supposedly easier than 3.4. directions that came with kit were vague. you'll need to take your mass sensor and intake arm off to get to everything.
