Replacing door latch
I have a 2000 F-150 ext.cab and the drivers side rear door latch is not working correctly. You can't open the door from the inside. I brought it to a dealer and it's like $200.00 to replace. I would like to do it myself and was wondering if anybody has experience with this. The latch is riveted on so it looks like I have to grind the rivets but do I need to take the door panel off also? If so. how? Any help would be appreciated.
