how many shallow chics you want to attract with that R6? Get a 04 R1 instead, you'll receive classy nookies. lol.

01 R6 can be had for mid $4Ks to $5ks. The ones with mods are naturally pricey.

If you like the 00, you might as well consider 99 too, since it was the 01 that had major upgrades, followed with fuel injection and body and chasis redesign in 03.

Re: Yamaha R6

Well I haven't ridden a R1, but I've sat on one and it didn't seem like it would be too uncomfortable. Long rides being a exception of course.

funny thing is when you ride one, you forget to feel how uncomfortable you are. too busy concentrating on everything else. bit like driving a rotor. so much fun when its running you forget the down time for repairs

my 'blades a very uncomfortable bike two up when i can't move too much, but on my own i forget to feel the numb ass or sore back.(back brace does wonders for that)

Well I drive my rotor hard and it keeps on a ticking. I like my katana since I can sit upright if I want to since I have long arms. It's fun, but unfortunately I broke the key in the gas tank lock. Then just the other day I walk out to see the bike on it's side. It scraped the fairing and broke the clutch lever. I wasn't a happy camper.

Re: Yamaha R6

This chick does... I think R6's are grody. But that's just me.

Oh, and the reason that "curb monkeys" like the R6 so much... is because it's the only letter and number combination their delicate minds can remember.
