BOV problems
I am new here so please be patient. thanks. Alright here is my deal. 92 Eagle talon tsi w teo4h turbo. On the bov there is a hose connected from the valve to the intake side of the turbo. I want to remove this but when i do, the car runs rough and will not idle, it even dies. I am wondering if it have to do with the sensors by the filter or what. I have seen this done on a friends eclipse and he did not have this problem. So i am wondering what is up. Thanks

Re: BOV problems
you need it. search for "vented bov" or read the "read this BEFORE posting a question" thread which has a complete description of why you need it

Re: BOV problems
you may be able to do it and not stall after a couple rounds of mods, but the rich problem will always be there...

in case you dont feel like searching, what is happening is that the maf sensor is telling your ecu that there is more air than there really is, because you've just vented it to the atmosphere instead of recirculating it back into the system. therefore, it runs rich and you encounter the problems you've described.
