A very talked about topic but here I go w/ it again

I'm thinking about getting a new turbo. I want an upgrade from the T25 and not spend to much. I wanna get one for Christmas so it can't be to much. Maybe a used 14B $100-$150 or I might be able to get a Small 16G thats basically brand new for $250. After that I'll need an install kit or find all the crap to make one myself, I know theres a DIY on tuners. So what would you guys do? Look for a 14B for around $100? I see them everywhere for $150 but I was hoping more for $100. For the 16G, the person wants $300 but I offered $250. If they accept that should I jump on it? Advice please
