well for the most part she is done, just swapping the limited slip rear end out for a 87 posi from a iroc. and im going to put some cross drilled rotors all around.

Mines already stored for winter , doing all my work on it during winter. The tires I have anyways don't let me move in ice or snow. so what the hell. Will be my winter time consumer aside from work and woman.


Just keep it in a dry place like a garage and you shouldn't have a moisture problem.

as of right now i dont know, my dad wants to gut the 84 z28 he got and use my 305, 5 speed and the limited slip rear end in it, he is restoring this car for a surprise b-day gift for my mom.

how important is to warm up a car in winter?
like when is 20 to 10 out side?
how about 30 to 40?
i dont have a garage so my car is outside.

i ask this because people tell me i need to warm it up
and some people say i dont have to.

its good to start the car up about 2 times a week for about 15-25 minutes. keeps the battery charged up and also will keep your engine oiled up, prevents it from siezing up.

tacoma I said to keep a little container of baking soda in the interior to help with moisture. I keep my car outside last winter and sealed it off from any rain or snow. When I opened the hood in the spring the whole intake and alternator were covered in a white film that was atleast a quarter inch thick.
The snow didnt get in but the moisture sure did.

This would be my first year for storeing my car, what important things should i keep in mind, besides the obvious such as haveing it in a garage. What should i do to keep it healthy yet stored for winter?

gas line antifreeze.
gas stabilizer.
top up all fluids.
you could change the wheels to some crappy ones with junk tires on them to make sure the tires dont dry rott but i never bothered and my tires are ok.
unhook your battery or remove it.
i put some bounce sheets and steel wool around to help keep any rodents away.

thats all I can think of right now.
