93 gc 5.2 v-8 awd blowing ecu/trans fuse and stalling

for a couple of months now my jeep just cuts off whenever... Or sometimes when I go to start it it, it will blow the fuse under the hood marked ecu/trans. Sometime I can replace the fuse and it will start right away and other times it will just keep blowing the fuses one right after the other. Let jeep cool for about an 1-1/2 hours replaced fuse; and sometimes it will start. But it's not long before it will blow again. We have replaced the ignition switch and the ecm. If anyone is haveing or has had the same problem...PLEASE ADVISE. MY HUSBAND IS READY TO BURN IT TO THE GROUND!!!

Have you looked at all the wiring common to that fuse? Look for a chaffing wire that could be rubbing up against another wire or ground source. Also make sure it is the right size fuse that you are installing.

I don't think it the wiring. But not sure because it's a huge fuse box and it looks pretty clean. As soon as you turn the key it blows that fuse.

Check/Change the Ballast Resistor Bypss Relay. The fuse wires connect to this next before going to your ECM. If it isn't that, then I don't know what else it could be other than wires.

Go to your Jeep's eng. specs (Fig. 32) and see for yourself

Very Fruuuuuuuuustrated. Thanks for all your help...and if any more ideas come flying your way...Please keep advising.

Where is the fuse that keeps blowing located . Is it in the box under the hood right behind the battery. Is it one of the maxi fuses ( big ) or mini fuse small fuse? Check the wires going to the oxygen sensor for shorts (bare spots ) or burnt spots Also check wire around the front driveshaft Dale [email protected]

The fuse is under the hood behind the battery. The fuse that is blowing is the ECU/trans. mini fuse 15 amp. in power distribution box. Checked the wiring giggled every sensor, pulled on starter wires; fuse did not blow. Cranked the motor and fuse blew immediately.
