REALLY NEED Y'ALL's OPINION!
Hey, I really need all of your opinions. OK, I just went to radio shack, and just spent around $25 on wires and connectors, so I can hook my PC up to my Stereo for sound. But, I found this speaker system for only $6 more, that has a subwoofer, and 26 watts of sound coming out of it, and got a 4 average rating through a bunch of customers who majority say it's good for the price. So, I was thinking if I should return the wires and get the sound system which is meant for a computer, or just keep the wires and keep my stereo as my ultimate sound system for my computer? I'm trying to find out which one is worth more getting. Your help would be appreciated.

But I would like to know what you all think would be the better choice out of the bunch, which one you would get more bang for the buck, or which is more worth the deal, or which one is more worth it....

I have a 3-piece set from Creative similar to those...work just fine, sound good, paid 29.00 (after 20.00 rebate)...Plenty of low end, decent highs...can't beat the price

Re: REALLY NEED Y'ALL's OPINION!
if your sterio has RCA connections, use this:
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/RCA-S...oductDetail.do That's what I use and it works great, Plug the RCAs into the sterios AUX hookups and the other plug into the speaker jack on the computer. Instead of your 26 puny watts, I have 400 watts ![]() or, look into a set of high quality computer speakers. One up in the 50-150 range are usually the best of quality and have the best sounds.

These are my two choices again, which I'm having trouble deciding: 1. is I return the RCA wires and connectors, get my money back and get the computer speaker system for only $6 more, or I just keep the RCA cables and connectors and work from that.

125W means that your speakers have a maximum output of 125 watts 60 Hz is the sound frequnecy output of the stereo, 60Hz is good But most speakers how a days run at 75Hz The speakers you are looking at has a max output of 26W but the setup you have now can go as high as 125w. You are probably noticing some sound volume and quailty loss because of the RCA -> stereo connectors. My suggestion would be to mess around with the volume controls and set your main speaker outlet to match the output of your stereo speakers, 5.1 for most stereos. You can do this by clicking start> Settings> Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices. Click the Advanced tab and select the proper output. You may also want to upgrade your RCA-> stereo cable to gold or platinum coated connectors and if possible find some cables with better shielding. A computer can produce a suprizing amount of EMI to a poorly sheilded stereo cable. Also the length of the cable can effect the output, get yourself just enough cable to do the job. I hope that helps
