question about drift technique

ok ur going 40mph around a corner and u just about to start cranking the wheel....do u downshit before the turn so u can keep the revs going and the tires spinning?

iono im just asking cuz downshifting seems risky when going at a fast speed....

40 seems awfully slow, you want good entry speed. Id say around 50-55. and brake to tranfer the weight foward, downshift , gas countersteer.
