Please Help! Wiring Harness for 89 Lemans??
I have an 89 Pontiac Lemans and received a 2nd hand cd player for my car from a family member. (Sony) It slides in perfect and fits nicely but I can't find a wiring harness to connect it with. I've checked Wal-Mart and RadioShack. I've also looked online and found ones for older Lemans' but nothing for an 89...please help! Somone told me there is a way to MAKE one fit, but it involved bending and twisting and cutting...I don't know...

In all Honesty... If you can't find the correct adapter & don't know what wires are what already. Then I'd pay a shop to install it. I've paid between $25 & $50 for install. Cheap considering the problems that might arise from trying to "rig" something.
I've never seen an adapter for a lemans... but there has to be one out there, might call a stereo shop to see if they can order it for you too.
