I'm sure it is illegal in all states...there have been some threads throughout AF on this subject...and how you could make one...if you do a search I'm sure you'd find plenty of info...
However I think the general concensus is it is a stupid idea that should be reserved for F&F and videogames...it can hinder performance, be dangerous, etc. If you really want flames, take off your cat and catback and run open downpipe for a day

No, I'm not angry, it isn't addressed in the FAQ, so I don't mind...I'm simply too lazy to do the search for him and find all the past threads...
However, I do recommend using the FAQ and search feature when possible

I wonder if shooting higly flamable vapor into the the exhaust farther up would heat it enough to ignite on exiting as soon as it got enough oxygen.
