SVT vs. Corolla XRS

Anyone out there have an SVT? Do you like it? It looks pretty good and seems to have some power. My guess is it has a Euro feel, nice on the highway. The Corolla XRS(http://www.automedia.com/autoReviews...1cx.asp?affid=) has the same horsepower but I like the look of the SVT.

The SVT review was pretty good: http://www.automedia.com/autoReviews...1sf.asp?affid=

sure it has the same hp, but theres nothing exciting about the corolla. Looks are mediocre with the corolla, every svt focus comes in manual which i like, the svt definetely handles better, etc.

I would have to agree with all of the above.

I have an '03. It's fun to drive but it hasn't been very reliable. I've had it in the shop 2 times for the same problem, and it's still not right. It has to go back for a grinding sound in the front.

My wife has an '03 Toyota Tacoma and we have had no hint of any type of problem.

The Corolla may not look that sporty, but I would go with Toyota reliability.

Do your research and GOOD LUCK

Re: SVT vs. Corolla XRS

I have one. It's a riot to drive even if it's a little uncivilized compared to say an RSX.

Toyotas in general really have a good reliability record and SVTs don't.
