Rubber Recommendations Anyone?

I have an 88 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0 I-6. The question is, can anyone recommend a tire brand that will give me good highway speed stability, lowered road noise, off road reliability and hey, good traction in snow wouldn't hurt either.
Did I mention I wanted all that without having to take out a 2nd mortgage on the house?
Thanks in advance...

Stephen

(Just dropped a $1000 on a tune up and 6 new injectors but it will be back by the weekend with brand new inspection sticker...So far this beast has only cost me about $2300 + the time I have in doing repairs...)

Look into the Cooper discovery series tires. They are a 30K tire, I got over 40K, good for any situation(on/off road) and have very low road noise. Also look into BFG's A/T's. Low road niose, excellant traction, especially in clay/mud. You can probably run 30"x9.50's on stock rims.

i personally like BFG A/T's they are a good all around tire, if you dont really need them for snow i recommend BFG M/T's but they are slightly louder and are not very good in snow. the M/T's will blow away any tire short of swampers in just about any other terrain.

I recently got the Cooper Discovery tires. Like them a lot...good traction on wet pavement.

Try and talk to several tire dealers and off road specialty stores! GoodYear Wanglers offer most of your desires, and as for price here is a tip! Look at your local Trader/paper their are companies that buy and sell new takeoff wheels and tires from Jeeps and other manufactures. They come off those brand new Jeeps at the dealers that have already been jacked up! Here in Atlanta You can get 5 Jeep Wrangler 5 star type wheels with Goodyears with 000 miles for 400.00!!
