Depends on the year, transmission, engine type, etc. C&D tested an '00 4x4 5spd at 10.4 - NA V6. I believe they had an auto year or two later (also NA) that ran it in 11.2 or so. I don't think C&D has ever tested a S/C Xterra, but they ran a CC Frontier S/C 5-spd at 9.4 or so with a 5-spd, and around 10 w/ an auto. Edmunds seems to fall mostly in line with these numbers as well.
Basically, figure on these numbers: S/C 5-spd - 9.5 S/C Auto - 10 NA 5-spd - 10.5 NA Auto - 11+ 4cyl - who cares? They're all slow.
