Budget U-bend Delete

i was told that the "u-bend" is a very restrictive part of the exhaust and that i am losign a lot a power with it... and that with my CAI and pulley it makes it worse. Untill i can afford a proper u-bend replacement, i have thought of welding a peice of metal striaght tubing to fill the gap. Any suggestions on where i should locate my 02 sensor?

What he said Instal the spoof. ZZPerformance is a great site for all you GP lovers to go to. My Buddy actually runs the place. It is out of Grand Rapids Michigan. He does the actual fabrications right there and is a Grand Prix Genius.
