the borla wont sound too ricy, i have one to go on my 2.7 but havnt gotten around to it. but anyway you go its still going to sound that was, just different mufflers will have different tones, at first i didnt want it on mine, but i have come to accept that its performance for my truck.

you want a deeper, throatier exhaust, get a magnflow or flowmaster muffler. i've heard alot of tacos witht he flowmaster 40 series and they sounds pretty badass.

I've seen people pay as low as $40 for them, or as high as $200, depending on where they are bought. You can find them brand new on Ebay for awesome prices. Most auto places online have them for around $80, and there are places like amazon that has them for $110 and Jeg's are even more than that. Here's a link for one for $75 off another site;

You want ot get the center inlet, dual outlet one, then you'll need an exhaust shop to bend the bpipe for your new dual rears of course, unless your good llike that.

I'm glad I asked because I thought it was a 2.5" .. Are we positive that it is a 3" inlet ??

I'm pretty positive. If need be, go to your Toy dealer and ask them what size pipe runs into the inlet of the OE muffler, then go from there. I definitely wouldnt want to tell you soemthing that wasnt for sure.

Re: 2.7L good exhaust?

I just got a Magnaflow, but the CEL keeps coming on after a week or so of driving I need to find out the codes.... It does sound nice though, but I can't exactly say it's LOUDER and DEEPER. There's someone in town that has an aftermarket that sounds really loud. I don't like LOUD exhausts.
