95 Cutlass Steering thunk

Hi,

I have a 95 Cutlass Supreme. I have replaced both outer tie rods.

The car would pull to the left, like it really needed an alignment badly.
But, when I turned the wheel sharply to the right, I heard a thunk and it straightened out the steering, and the car didn't pull to the left anymore.
When I made a sharp turn to the right, I hear a thunk noise.
Now, it's whether I turn right or left, I hear the thunk noise. It seems to be getting worse.

Does anyone know what it is, what it could be, and if there's a danger with driving it like this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Some additional info, the car seems to shake at times when going 60 + mph.

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the reply!

I also found out that the power steering fluid gets low fast, which means a leak!

I'm getting an estimate from the mecanic, and I'll update you on the results!

A quick update after seeing the mechanic:

He told me the upper bushings where the strut connects on top are totally gone.

He also said I need to replace the right ball joint, and new brake pads!

So, all in all it isn't too bad!
