front break calipers on a 98

I've done a few disc break jobs so I'm fairly familar with the simple replacement of pads and such. On my blazer however when I went to remove the lower pin to flip up the caliper it wouldn't turn. Now this is a duel cylider caliper which I haven't not worked with before and now I'm woundering if I'm missing something. Does anyone have a break down of the procedure from chevy or a diagram (from the service manual, trying to avoide spending more bucks for a manual right now), i would appreciate it. I'll get the book eventualy, just wanting some help on this one thing for right now though.

mine wouldnt turn either, its stuck, good luck with it, i snaped my head off the screw, had to heat it up and take it out with a pair of plyers so be verry careful, spray some lube on it and dont force, lots of small "bumps" will work best, and as for a turn signle sounds like the spring for return is broke or fell off, not sure how that even works, but itshappend in a torus my g ma owned and thats the only reasone i think of that

Thanks for the note, thats what I'm fairly certain is up (had one shear off on another older car once during a break job, not fun). Was just woundering if there was a diffrent bolt or something to remove first on this particular style of caliper or if its still basicaly the same even though its a dual piston type. The turn signal, its intermitent and the lever still centers but suspect something inside the stearing colume. If any one still has the diagram from the manual that would be cool but kinda assuming its a frozen bolt.

Be really carful with those brake bolts, it seems to be one of the things chevy didn't beef up enough. Not only will they get stuck and break off when pulling out but they will strip out the threads when tightening down. Be careful when spraying oil around breaks, a couple drops of liquid wrench should do the trick. Have fun.
