Am I the only one who has a problem with the GT-R logo?

On my way to work this morning I had a bit of an encounter. I was traveling on the fast lane just trying to get to work on time, doing about 75-80 ish and not wanting to any faster (need new tires). So this bright ass HIDs get on my ass and blind me (sun still not up). ok so I move over to the left to let him pass. well the dude jumps and runs right up behind me and starts honking. WHAT? I motion so I jump back on the fast lane and he speeds up next to me...........a fucking Camery with GT-R skyline badges on the side and on the back. WTF? why do I see mustangs, MX3's, Camaries, Civics, Accords, and even a Navigator with the GT-R logo. It really bothers me alot, ALOT! it should be illegal to sell GT-R logos to anyone not driving a GT-R...........well maybe if you have a 240 with a RB engine then ok. Does this anoy me or is anyone else sick of shitwagons wearing the GT-R badge?

oh yeah I downshifted and put like 3 cars on the dude but he kept up well enough. I pulled alot thanks to traffic and then got on the lane to my exit, he came up hard on the right lane next to me so right before I got off I lowered my window and threw a penny out the window, right as he flew by me I heard the "KLINK" of the penny smacking his windshield. Punk ass!

There are certain things a man owns that no one should ever fuck with, one being his car. I don't care who wears the GT-R badge, its his choice. But for you to pelt his vehicle with a hard object like that....thats sooo fucked up.

No, like really though, don't throw shit at other people's rides.

I agree with the no throwing thing (it's asking for an escalation in road rage), but I don't think he threw it because of the GT-R badges; I understood it was because the guy kept riding him and speeding up on his bumper and stuff. Admittedly, that would get annoying, but you never know just how psycho the guy is next to you, so I would leave it at wasting him and maybe pointing and laughing.

I agree with both of you. But it's true. You never know how crazy the person is next to you. For all you know he could have jumped right in front of you, slammed the brakes, and said the accident was all your fault. But, like the new guy said, don't f#@k with someones ride. In doing so, you probably cracked his windshield, and now he has to pay a couple hundred $'s to fix it. Totally messed up. Sorry, but I'm sure you would feel the same way if someone did that to you. Late...

its a pretty douchebag thing to do to throw a penny at some guys car just because he did something to it that you dont like.

What if I took a sledgehammer to your car for it being cocaine white? I hate that color, I should smash your car.

Re: Am I the only one who has a problem with the GT-R logo?

reminds me of my charger sl when i first got it rt badges mounted in the wrong places, a wing off of a gto judge, hood pins mounted on the back of the hood none up front, front seats from a kia sportage and carpet taken strait from a house, and how can i forget the 20 dolar respray eggshell white to (you guessed it)hemi orange.
I dont think we'll ever really know why people do these things to cars but for some reason it looks so good to them.
maybe these are the kids who were actually dropped on there heads as babies.

well i can attest to getting very angry when seeing a car with the badges (or other items) from a much better car, as well as having someone act like an idiot while driving. to be honest i probably would have thrown something too. but keeping your cool is a definite sign of mental strength, which is alot more respectable than retaliation however difficult it may be. but good win

The cars that I see the most, sporting the GTR badge, are Mustangs and Sentras.

Don't post in this forum much, but I thought I'd add my two cents here.

I remember seeing a Hyundai Elentra the other day with a GT-R badge. I turned around just so I could see it again, because I didn't believe it.
