New 04 Xtreme Blazer

I just got a new 04 xtreme blazer and i wanted to find out from people that have blazers what companies are best to go with for mods. First i want to know what company i want to use for lowering my xtreme blazer. I want a 4/5 drop. also i want to know if i take the xtreme emblems off the side doors if they have holes in them? Because i dont want to take them off if they have holes under. Also which intake, headers, and exhaust i should go with. Also will lowering my blazer with a 4/5 drop have any long term effects on my car? Any replies would be nice.

Why would you want to mod ?

Why would you modify a perfectly brand new truck......how many miles on it....? Is the warranty expired ?

Must have a lot of extra money .......

haha i dont have any extra money.. it all went to the down payment. I just got the blazer yesterday. Well intake and exhaust is one of the first things i want to do to it. I dont think that voids the warranty or so ive been told. I know that headers void the warranty though. Lowering is something i have to save for a long time and i wanted to do that after warranty is over anyways. Do you have a xtreme blazer to? If so did you mod it at all?

Re: New 04 Xtreme Blazer

For intake, go with a K&N FIPK kit, and for the exhaust, I got Flowmasters on mine, and its pretty nice. Ive seen some slammed XTremes, and they looked awesome. If you want to drop it for around 300-400 bucks, you could go to BellTech for drop spindles and blocks, but if you want to save your money up and get something that will really make your XTreme stand out, wait and save up to get some air bags.

Re: New 04 Xtreme Blazer

Don't mod it until the warranty is expired.

GM will not honor a problem on a modded truck.

Maybe it is just me but why would you lower a perfectly good 4x4? Just like lowering a duelie.

Re: New 04 Xtreme Blazer

Actually they have to honor the warranty as long as the mod is not directly affecting the issue at hand. So lets say you put on headers and your transmission goes out, in the US by federal law they MUST honor the warranty. If you also swap back to stock they must honor the warranty.
