Exhaust manifold heat shield

Will removing the heat shield that goes over the header, harm anything? It just seems to get in the way when checking the oil and such. Besides it looks better without it.

wont neccesarily harm anything, but it will effect the temp in ur engine bay, id leave it

Get a header and don't worry about it LOL.
But to answer the question the only thing that will be affected is the temp in the engine bay, but not by much.
