Thinking of buying

Hey thanks in advance, for the help, I found a real clean 1995 Dakota, 4 cylinder 5 sp with 135,000 miles everything works, I know nothing about the 4 cycl. in those trucks, it will be for a 17 yr. old boy, they want $1,500, what yall think.

If its the 2.5 L it is a great little motor with one exception when you get up around the mileage your talking about these engines tend to need a head gasket replacement. Also ask when the timing belt was replaced. Other than that its a good engine. A common complaint with the Dakota having this engine is that its under powered. As far as reliabilty its been good. The Dakota itself is one tough truck loved by most who own her.
The truck in very good shape sounds like a good deal for the price.
