F22 turbo or H22 all-motor

Hmm.. I was wondering what I should do? I am going to save up for either a turbo for the f22 engine or should I save up for a H22 engine? hmmm.. what have people with f22/turbo done and people with H22/NA done? I've heard of H22/turbo's but that might be too much for me for now?

I would get the H22 with a V-AFC and then save up to get a turbo for my H22. Even with the H22 in the accord you'll still be moving especially with the VTEC Controller, and then when your ready you turbo it and then you'll really be moving.

Re: F22 turbo or H22 all-motor

turboing an h22 isnt the best idea since it is a failry weak engine for boosting. It all depends on what you want. Do u wanna feel the boost? The feeling of boost is very exciting and enjoyable to everyone but it most cases i think and most other ppl think it is the cheaters way out of going fast. But it doesnt matter b/c going fast in any way is going fast! anyway personally i would build an n/a h22. It would be great for car shows and for props too. You will also definitely be the king of the road... well too all accords and half-ass souped up cars like mines. Just throwing an h22 in an accord will make u run mid 14s in the 1/4 mile. building it well will definitely run u into the 13s. If you build it good you can also be ripping through it at 10k RPMs!... ok more like 9k haha... this motor aint no easy b16 high reving beast

I'm doing the H22 swap right now with my cousin, and we are just getting some lower compression parts to help it out so we can turbo later. If you have the cash, a turboed H22 is definitely the way to go.
Nothing is as great as VTEC until you have a turboed H22. Only seen one, and he was running 11's all day long.

the H22 type S is the best, but it costs a great deal more than the others, and only has 20 more hp

92-95 CIVIC hatchback. those cars with h22s have major oversteer i heard and when racing on the streets have a tendency to crash into walls cuz it grips so much.... since an h22 is bout 300lbs heavier than b-series or something like that

first off its not the motor thats heavier its the transmission....and there is a place that makes an adapter plate to mate a b-series transmission to the h22 and thats wut this kid did....so its about 50 pounds heavier than a b-series swap.

and yes it was a 92-95 CIVIC hatchback
