95 sable..check engine light..eratic

95 sable with 115,000 miles. Check engine light comes on eratically and 'flashes' as tranny shifts. Sometimes stays on when in park...sometimes not.

After it hits 3rd...usually about 35 mph...it goes off! Here's the good part....it throws no codes; I've checked a dozen times.

did

Did you test drive it with a mechanic?

Also, does it stall or have any problems starting? Mine did that so I am really feeling unreliable about these sables, especially during that time period

Re: did

No mechanic involved. No starting or drivability problems that I can tell...just this damn light. Trany was re-built about a year ago.......new cats and O2 sensors as well. I suspect a loose wire-connector-sensor; but have not been able to locate.

My biggest concern is that I have to get an E-check this month and I don't want it to fail and have to "prove" that I spent $$$ to fix.
