wheels specs Question

as you guys know i will probably have to get new rims. The rims i have on it now are 17x8. I need to know what sizes would actually fit my car cus i have no clue about wheels at all. I know you guys are a lot smarter than me so thanks. the wheels im checking out now are 17x7 woudl those fit?

Do not go thinner than stock.

That's right dont go thinner, but if you want to know what type of rims fit your car go to any place that sells them and ask. They have to know.

Check out www.tirerack.com (one of AFs sponsers) and do the sizing. It'll tell you what will fit. And, count me among those that say don't get thinner rims.

and by thinner you mean the number after the X. all the ones i like are usually 18x7 or 18x7.5's but yous guys say i should go with that right?

3si has a pretty good wheel/tire/suspension forum as well
last time I checked i think they had a list of different wheels, sizes, offsets etc that will fit...you may want to check that out.

Or just simply go to http://www.tires.com and find the nearesh location to you. call them up they will know cause i work for that company.
