GTP Radio lights and Head Up Display
 2 Problems on my 1998 GTP: 1. The display on my radio/CD has suddenly stopped working. The radio, CD and all controls work fine. I just can't see what station I'm tuned to or what time it is. 2. The head up display keeps dimming for no reason. Sometimes it's too dim to see. The dim control works fine when the display is operating normally. Any ideas appreciated.

maybe a pinched wire or loose connection in the fusebox or behind the hud -dimmer switch or radio - i would check the radio first but being u gotta take that whole dash face off u might as well check em all........
good luck man - i really dont have much time to think i just saw ur post an figured i would atleast throw u an idea..

have you checked your battery?
i had this same problem with the HUD a few days before my battery died...i replaced it about a week ago and haven't had a problem since.
