Unhappy today was the day

ok today was the day that my black beauty went on to another family. i treated her well and she treated me the same, but I gave her a good home. today i went shopping for a suv and cant decide between either a jeep grand cherokee, pathfinder, 4runner or an explorer. what do you think.

Re: today was the day

Yeah, 4runner most definantly...stay as far away from the explorer as possible.

ya, go with the Grand Cherokee with the Hemi engine!!! actually, Chrysler/Dodge has put a new feature on those Hemi engines to save fuel: when you're cruisin, the ECU shuts down 4 cylinders (basically no spark or fuel go to those cylinders), and so you save on gas. but when you wanna punch it, the transition to turning back on the 4 cylinders is seamless, and there comes the WHOOOSH of hemi power!

Re: today was the day

I feel for you man my day will probably be tomorrow if all goes well.. My dad owns a 98 4Runner that I used to drive as my car before the SL, they're great 'trucks', my dad got on my ass over thanksgiving break for doing a block long burnout, he's not a big fan of wasting traction lol. So yea my vote is the 4Runner if you can afford it, what year you looking at? And did you get a good deal selling your baby?

Re: today was the day

Well I just got back from signing over the title and depositing the cashiers checks at the bank, one nice thing is the guy will give her a good home and not beat on her and said he is a member of AF. Ended up getting $7,300 for her, nice considering I found it for a deal and bought it for $5,900. I still have her but only for the rest of the day. I don't want to drive her, it'd be so sad. Goodbye baby , we were so good to eachother and it just didn't work out.

Re: today was the day

yeah i am sorry technically i shouldnt still be a 3s member but oh well i can try to help out with the forums and stuff. i understand my betrayal and selling my 3s BUT I GOT MY NEW CAR SUVE TODAY CHECK IT OUT!!!

1998 jeep grand cherokee limited
v8 5.9L 245hp with 345lb torque
63k miles on it mint in and out.

Dealer said car was from arizona and delivered to spokane washington were i bought it. All there cars are with super low miles and mint in and out. I looked at most of the suvs there and same exact condition and miles on all of them probably the best dealership I have ever been to. So my suv has never been in snow its immaculate. I will try to post some pictures as soon as I can get a hold of a camera. Its a beauty silver metallic colored I wanted a black one but they didnt make black just white and burgandy color for that year and make. On the hood it has vents to keep the engine cool and gives it a beefier look.
