Completed:1966 Mustang Dragster

Here's my latest model. Its a 1966 mustang coupe. I decided to build the drag version of it. I wired the engine and added other little details to it. The color is tamiya's light gun metal. I think it turned out pretty good

tell me what u guys think of it

It looks pretty good, you've definitely got the stance and the paintwork down right.

However, for future builds I suggest using wheels other than stock (particularly on the rear as tires that wide really should have deep dish wheels like Radirs or Cragars) and using smaller portions of wire for the plug wiring. The big loops look very unrealistic and sloppy.

Other than those little qualms, very good build and I can't wait to see what you do for an encore.

Pretty nice the only 2 things are the leaf springs for a whellie bar and you maybe should have put tubs in there but otherwise nice maybe some engine pictures.

Good build!

smelmygreddy and mrceej , Thats the whellie bars that came in the kit.

Layla's Keeper, I wouldn`t say that they are sloppy , just a little long thats all.

[EDIT] In order for him to "tuck" the rear wheels in he would need to cut up the frame realy badly and make new mounts for the axel.

lancer07, I have this kit too , I think you did a very good job for what this kit is. Here is my amt rustang ...

and the best pic

I had to make a junk yard car out of it because I used paint stripper on it to get it ready for a repainting and it kinda melted the body. Sadly it was way to screwed up to fix .
