Unhappy Help! My civic is hesitating while driving

If you can help,

I just changed my spark plugs and wires thinking this would solve my problem but it didn't. My car still has hesitation when I am driving. Also, the check engine light just came on when I was going up a hill. The car like sputs and hesitates to hit gear right, it seems like it is misfiring. The plugs I put in are bosch platinum 4's and bosch wires. Please if anybody has any suggestions help me out.

I had the same problem, turns out my iat sensor was acting up, but then decided to fix itself(HONDA!) Haven't had any problems since. My advice would be to get your check engine light checked first and then go from there. check your air filter also. good luck.

Did you check the cel code? Do you have any mods on the car? Did you check your distributor? Unscrew the cap and check to see your rotor and contacts inside aren't rusted. If they are, those parts are relatively cheap to replace.. Otherwise it could mean anything from a bad fuel pump, injectors, to a blown headgasket or piston ring(s).

Re: Help! My civic is hesitating while driving

you would probably have to take it somewhere to get your timing checked
