2000 A33 Maxima Transmission problem

Hi

I am having a problem with the max. transmission as follows:

When the car is driven for about half hour or so it and i am driving on the highway the transmission seems to disengage and pressing the pedal just revs the engine without powering the car. If i stop and put it in neutral and put it back into Drive it will go again for a short while until it happens again. Also if i put it into L or 2 manually it does not engage.

If driving in traffic, it will stick in one gear rather than 'disengage'.

When the diagnostics is run the result is that the system is Ok.

Can you help me please in this matter.

I also know two other people with this same problem.
