'95 Facelift - could this work?!?

I have a '95, and I have been looking at the new '98s and even the 2001's. I noticed that both models have (what appears to be) the same size front fender. I am thinking of changing my stock '95 bumper cover with a 2001 bumper cover (give the 'ol girl a facelift).

Other than changing the lights, has anyone seen or heard of someone doing this before?, can it be done without any major brackets being fabricated?
