Ported Enclosure Question

I've decided upon the XXX 15" and Cadence ZRS-8 amplifier. Now, I've already been advised to do about 3cf tuned to 28hz. My trunk is 16cf in space, that's all I know. How would I even begin to plan a box and what should my final product look like (both exterior and interior)? Also, how do I "tune" the box?

Lastly, what is the Magic 3 upgrade specifically?

Re: Ported Enclosure Question

Do 4-4.5 cubes not three....you tune by entering in the volume into a port length calculator and the port deminsions and it will tell you the length to achieve the tuning you want.....to find out deminsions that fit we need to know how big HW and D that will fit through your trunk opening and into your trunk. big three is using heavy gauge wiring (4,2,or 0) And wiring your alternators positive to batt's positive batt's negative to a chassis ground and alt negative to chassis ground (alot of time its just grounded to the block)

Damned specifics. I'll get the measurements. I need to know how to build the box piece by piece though. I have no clue how. Any links or anything?
