I have an AE86 full tuned car. I was wondering do the points make your car go faster or just the parts?

after you are full tuned, points do not do anything. parts never change your car dramatically... just slightly. the only thing that will improve your time is stock to full tune.

its skewed more to the driveer tho too. I kno a kid who has a 4 million point RX-8 and i always kept beating him, oh yea, that was his card too.

To actually answer you question. Yes, parts help but barely. Points help no matter what. Full-tuned is about 3 seconds faster than stock.

Oh btw does anyone know a good way to get points. I mean i refaced Shingo (i just started, just beat myogi) and has a 201m lead and only got like 2K points. So if ne1 knows a good way to get points plz tell me. BTW im playing Version 2 if it matters. THanks ppl

play bunta challenge or when you finish the story mode go back to story mode and go to akina and play against bunta dry and wet again....

in version two bunta challenge would be hard. akagi you need around a 2'16 to beat him with 15 stars. akina he isn't beaten by anyone yet. happo, is probably your best bet. irohazaka need around a 2'36-7.

phhht! i havent even played half those ive played akagi and akina and suprisingly enuff. I suck at usui which is the 2nd easiest!

well if you are talking about a high level bunta, like level 12-15 on certain stages it would be better for a full tune car unless you dont care about your points being taken away when you lose....but for like usui and myogi you dont need a full tune car to beat a level 15 bunta...

How about without a full-tune AE86(option A if it matters)? Since you can't exceed speeds of 203. Is it possible?
