How do I fix this
Hey I have a 1994 Cavalier and my gas gauge likes to move around a lot.
I will be driving and the needle will stay steady but when I brake the needle will go down, and when i accelerate from a stop the needle will go way up. How do I fix this? Thanks |

Re: How do I fix this
its natural... when you brake the gas moves around in the tank and affects the position of the sensor... i usually get this to start happening around 1/2 tank...when i floor it... i watch the needle drop to less gas

You shouldn't really let them get that low.... and yes mine does that aswell... if you let them run of gas and stall.... a fun time will start
