radiator
i have a 1994 automatic honda integra. i had a radiator leak on the bottom of my radiator, i put some prestone super sealer in it and it stopped leaking but for some reason after about 20 minutes of driving my car it starts to heat up, all the way to the H. anybody know why? it has fluid in it still.

Sounds like the thermostat is no good. CHeck it out. If it locks up it will cause over heat and over pressure ( pop the radiator like a balloon. )
Happened on my 88 B20A SI.

Re: radiator
Then may just be a matter of either the Fan not working or a relay/sensor issue. Check your fan fuse , make sure that's good. Check your fan out with a simple touch of a 12v hot to the main red lead , if those don't work may want to resort to replacing the temperature sensor or fan relay switch.

Re: radiator
i hope that sealer stuff didnt seal it all the way and block the coolant flow. you can turn on the engine and the fan should come on after normal op temp after about 2 min. i wired in a simple override switch so i can turn both fans on when needed took about 20 min and they still work at the normal times also (and when you say "honda" integra do you mean right hand drive "honda" integra)

Re: radiator
Have you flushed your radiator ever? Depending on what kind of fluid you use and when you change it, it can gunk up or crystalize along the inside of the radiator.
I reverse flushed the radiator on my truck and blew out about a litre of solid material. Then again, I did take it out in the desert a lot. Just another idea ^_^ |

Don't ever use any crazy additives to fix mechanical problems. That stuff causes more problems than it fixes. It probably gunked up the water jackets around the cylinders. So flush your coolant system with water until you wash out that super sealer. |

Re: radiator
Guys do not ever put tap water in your car! Never!
Tap water contains chlorine and that will damage your cooling system. Don't even use it to flush the system. And yes I was going to say water pump but I am too late lol. It would not have been the Thernostat because the thermostats in our cars are designed to fail in the open position. just FYI
