radio signal

Hey all, new guy on the block. My 96 lhs premiun radio/cd/tpe sounds system loses radio signal often. Once this happen i hit scan and let it go thriuigh all signals until it locks again. This could last 10 - 15 minutes most times sometimes longer.

Any wisdom???????????

If the antenna leads are solidly connected behind the radio and in the trunk by the antenna, then it might be a floating ground issue, does the radio blink or fade in illumination when it's acting up ?
