what do u guys think???

aight, heres my prob: i was drivin my dodge intrepid today and was accelerating and it went into overdrive and just lost power. the power steering and power brakes went out and im pretty sure the engine went off. so i tried to start it and it didnt, then about 5 minutes later, it started no problem. everything worked fine but the check engine lights on. so i thought id ask the mechanical gurus here and see what you thought.

Re: what do u guys think???

might be a wire harness rubthrough, when the tranny shifts back to rest between gears the harnes could touch, ground out, and kill power. as far as the downtime before starting again, could be security related, i suggest posting this question in the dodge intreped forum.
