240sx Hicas Shock help

watup ya'll, i have a 91 240sx w/ HICAS feature. i need to buy shocks for the car since it's bounc'n 2 much. i was wondering if i can just buy any 89-94 shocks or if there's a special one just for the HICAS cars. let me know what ya'll think. peace...

..not necessarily a shock problem.. springs are probably just tired.. do you want to replace them with performance shocks/springs? or the stock suspension?

well, i changed it to brand new obx coil-over and it's still bouncing. that's y i needed to change the shock.

old springs wouldn't make it more bouncy, listen to what your saying, they are SPRINGS lol.

you DEFINTELY need some new shocks, try some AGX's

hey thx, umm do u know if i can get any 89-94 240sx shock becuz everything i go online and search for it, they always say exc. HICAS adj. suspension. i dunno what that mean. there's a speacial shock just for hicas cars?

um, stiff springs eventually lose some of their stiffness.. which means they're not as stiff.. and when something isn't as stiff, its what?
now i know you're thinking limp but thats ok, everybody makes mistakes..

and teamxcessive, why are you so concerned about this? why don't you look for a suspension most people have.. in the world of tuning, buying the odd one isn't usually better.. find the mainstream suspensions and you won't have to worry much at all about hicas/no hicas.. its not THAT big of a deal
